Software Security Architect – Cloud and Web Product Development

We are looking for Software Security Architect

You’ll make a difference by:

• Define and evolve the security architecture for cloud and web-based products (SaaS, PaaS, APIs, microservices).

• Architect secure solutions for applications hosted on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Drive zero-trust architecture, secure DevOps (DevSecOps), and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

• Review product design documents and threat models to ensure appropriate security controls are in place.

• Collaborate with product stake holders, developers, DevOps, and QA to embed security in the development process.

• Act as the security point of contact for product teams, helping resolve issues and make architecture decisions.

• Conduct security risk assessments and secure code reviews, advising on remediations.

• Define and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices.

• Conduct threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE, DREAD) for new and existing products.

• Identify vulnerabilities and guide mitigation strategies.

• Define and track key security metrics and risk indicators.

• Design secure cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) using tools like Terraform, cloud Formation, or ARM Templates.

• Implement and review IAM policies, encryption, network segmentation, and container security.

• Leverage security services from cloud providers (e.g., AWS WAF, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center).

• Ensure products meet regulatory and industry-specific security requirements.

You’ll win us over by:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in IT/security, with 4+ years in security architecture for cloud/web products.

• Strong understanding of existing Application Software Security Benchmarks.

• Experience with secure coding practices in web development (C#,Angular).

• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and API security.

• Knowledge of identity and access management (OAuth2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect).

• Moderate to high understanding and knowledge on Cryptography, Security

• Protocols (TLS, OAuth, RADIUS etc.), Role Based Access Control. Certificate Management

• CISSP or any equivalent certification , Certified Cloud Security Professional

• Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and business teams.

• Analytical mindset and ability to balance risk with business needs.
