Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in the assigned area of expertise/teaching.

Prepare and deliver high-quality teaching materials, including lecture notes, handouts, assessment tools, including digital content.

Supervise and assess students during clinical placements to ensure competency and practical nursing skills.

Supervise and mentor Nursing students (KRCHN/Higher diploma/BScN/M and Upgrading ENM/ECHN) in their academic projects, research, or other areas.

Apply and utilise modern teaching methods, including e-learning tools and student-centred approaches.

Engage in all departmental teaching activities, including timetabling, course-loading, moderation of exams, supervision and marking exams, entry, and preparation of the graduation list.

Participate in clinical teaching in the assigned area of specialisation.

Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, including advising on academic progress and career development.

Curriculum Review and Development

Participate in designing, reviewing, and updating course curricula to align with current healthcare standards, regulatory requirements, and industry/ market trends.

Contribute to developing innovative teaching methodologies, including simulation-based learning and e-learning platforms.
