Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Manager to lead our sales initiatives and oversee operational functions within our construction chemicals division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and building materials market, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and have a proven record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets.

Identify and leverage new market opportunities to grow the customer base.

Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, architects, engineers, contractors, construction companies, and real estate developers.

Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to shape sales strategies.

Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in resource management.

Collaborate with warehouse, production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.

Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational workflows.

Ensure adherence to company policies.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and operations team to achieve high performance.

Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Establish performance metrics/dashboards and evaluate team performance for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

7 - 8 years of experience in sales and operations within the building materials/construction industry.

At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence.

Deep understanding of the construction and build materials market and customer needs.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
