Job Description
What you'll be doing
Negotiate advantageous pricing, delivery schedules and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
Manage the purchasing and inventory of raw materials, components, and other supplies to meet production demands
Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of reliable suppliers
Analyse purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with production, logistics and finance teams to optimise the supply chain
Ensure all purchasing activities are compliant with company policies and procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and systems
What we're looking for
2+ years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role.
Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities
Proficient in using procurement.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
