Internal IT General Control Testing

About the internship

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to support our internal IT general control testing team. This role offers opportunities to gain experience in performing IT audits and interacting with a global team in the UK, Europe, and Ireland.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support in evaluating IT risk and controls across various platforms and systems.

2. Review testing and assessing the effectiveness of IT general controls (access management, change management, backup & recovery, etc) in business-integrated audits in which there is close interaction between business and technology partners.

3. Help in preparing workpapers, audit documentation, and control matrices.

4. Collaborate with cross cross-functional team to gather required evidence and understand processes.

5. Identifying emerging firm-wide IT risks, understanding organizational changes through periodic engagements with the CIO and the finance systems team.

6. Contribute to global department-wide initiatives.

The above position is made under and governed by the provisions of 'The Apprentices Act, 1961' (the "Act"), which shall include all rules and regulations issued under the Act, including any statutory modification (s) or re-enactment (s) thereof for the time being in force.
