Oya Abeo is hiring a Batik & Fabric Production Intern to support our textile sourcing and quality control process. This person will manage batik coordination with our artisan partners, help source high-quality fabrics locally, and ensure all incoming textiles meet brand standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves textiles, knows how to spot quality, and thrives on follow-through and logistics.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Liaise with batik dyers: drop-offs, pickups, and progress checks

Communicate design and color instructions clearly to artisans

Perform detailed quality checks on dyed fabrics and purchased materials

Source fabric, trims, and garment materials from trusted Lagos vendors

Keep physical and digital logs of fabric deliveries and usage

Organize and label materials in the studio

Support the creative team with swatch runs and sample sourcing

Familiarity with Google Sheets or mobile note-keeping apps
