Automation Tester Intern

Responsibilities:

Write, maintain, and execute automated test cases for web and API applications

Assist in building test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and define test scenarios

Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing regularly

Log and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla

Participate in daily standups, test planning, and sprint reviews

Requirements:

Understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC

Familiarity with any automation tool like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Python/Java for scripting

Experience in writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans

Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control

Good to Have:

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

Experience with Postman or automated API testing tools

Basic knowledge of performance or load testing tools like JMeter
