The capstone will help you build a comprehensive opinion and it will challenge you in all areas of present-day privacy protection. The assignments invite you to use and revisit the material of all the courses. This capstone will link historic milestones to current limitations and offer you a journey through jurisdictions and technological fields alike. Whereas in the previous courses you were assessed by quizzes, the capstone will require you to carefully consider all you have learned so far and detail your opinion. The assessment in this course will mainly be done by in-depth assignments. Use the few practice exercises well to give you a head start in the graded assignments!

Prisma Cloud Host Defender Auto Deploy from a SaaS Portal
This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console. This lab is designed for Prisma Cloud customers, and you will deploy Prisma Cloud Host Defender from Google Cloud Marketplace. Having a Prisma Cloud SaaS portal is a prerequisite. If you are not a current Prisma Cloud customer, contact Palo Alto Networks prior to starting the lab to register for a free trial.
Translate Text with the Cloud Translation API
This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console. The Cloud Translation allows you to translate an arbitrary string into any supported language. In this hands-on lab you’ll learn how to use the Cloud Translation API to translate text and detect the language of text if the language is unknown.
Amazon Translate: Translate documents with batch translation
In this guided project, you will be using Neural Networks powered Amazon Translate batch translation feature to translate documents such as Word, Powerpoints and Excel sheets while maintaining the format of the documents. We will begin by exploring Amazon Translate and creating an S3 storage bucket with input & output folders. We will then create a batch translation job that can translate any document into any desired language. By the end of this project, you will be confident in working with Amazon translate and you will be able to translate any document (Word, Excel, PPT, HTML) to any language that is supported by Amazon Translate. This project is for professionals, businesses and freelancers who constantly need to translate documents from one language to another. Amazon translate is an amazing technology powered by AI and neural networks solutions that can translate your documents and files without destroying their format. We will be using the Amazon AWS Free tier which allows translations of up to 2 Million characters for Free every month. Note: In order to complete this project, you need an AWS account. Even if you do not have an AWS account, you will be guided to create a Free Tier AWS account in the project.
IoT Devices
The Internet of Things (IoT) stands to be the next revolution in computing. Billions of data-spouting devices connected to the Internet are already fundamentally changing the way we live and work. This course teaches a deep understanding of IoT technologies from the ground up. Students will learn IoT device programming (Arduino and Raspberry Pi), sensing and actuating technologies, IoT protocol stacks (Zigbee, 5G, NFC, MQTT, etc), networking backhaul design and security enforcement, data science for IoT, and cloud-based IoT platforms such as AWS IoT. As an optional honors avtivity, students will be guided through laboratory assignments designed to give them practical real-world experience, where they will deploy a distributed wifi monitoring service, a cloud-based IoT service platform serving tens of thousands of heartbeat sensors, and more. Students will emerge from the class with a cutting-edge education on this rapidly emerging technology segment, and with the confidence to carry out tasks they will commonly encounter in industrial settings. Important: To complete the practical part of the whole series (honors) there will be practical experimentation using actual hardware, which you will need to acquire. (Cost may vary between 100 and 200 USD depending on your location). Most parts that are needed for the first course, will be re-used in the following courses.
