
Job Description
Job Brief:
We are looking for a responsible Store Keeper to manage our inventory and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records. This role requires teamwork, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the store.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using inventory management software.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Keep the store office clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Assist with other store tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
A Bachelor\'s Degree in any Social Sciences course
At least three (5) years’ work experience as in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift
Skills to operate common office equipment.
