Senior Litigation Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Officer with a minimum of 7 years of post-call experience in commercial and corporate litigation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all litigation matters, providing strategic legal advice, and ensuring compliance with all legal standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee litigation cases from inception through resolution.

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters.

Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and clients.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Attend court proceedings and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations.

Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution.

Qualified to practice law in Nigeria with a minimum of 7 years of post-call experience.

Proven experience in commercial and corporate litigation.

Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
