📢 Internship Opportunity: Science DIY Intern (Model Making for Exhibitions & Hands-on Learning)

📍 Location: Mumbai

🕒 Duration: 6 Months

💰 Stipend: ₹10,000 per month

Are you passionate about science and love creating hands-on models? We are looking for a Science DIY Intern who will work on developing interactive science projects and models for exhibitions, workshops, and school-based learning using low-cost materials.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Design and build interactive science models and working projects for exhibitions and classroom demonstrations (especially up to Grade 8 level).

• Assist in creating activity-based learning materials and manuals.

• Collaborate with the content and training team to integrate models into lesson plans and workshops.

• Ensure that all models are safe, cost-effective, and aligned with school science curricula.

• Research innovative and low-cost science project ideas suitable for school-level exhibitions.

• Document procedures, materials, and step-by-step instructions for each project.

• Support in conducting hands-on workshops and science DIY kits.

🧠 Skills Required:

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree/diploma in Science or related fields.

• Basic understanding of general science concepts (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

• Practical knowledge and interest in DIY (Do-It-Yourself) model-making.

• Ability to think creatively and bring science concepts to life through models.

• Hands-on skills with materials like cardboard, motors, circuits, etc. is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and safety while building models.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

🎓 Eligibility:

• Students or recent graduates in Science, or related fields

• Passion for science communication and experiential learning

• Portfolio or photos of previous models/projects will be an added advantage
