Looking for an internship that will provide you with an experience like no other?
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Interns - Retention Advisors to join our Sales team.
This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract renewals for the medium business segment. As such the key responsibilities will include ensuring customer retention and renewal revenue targets are met and exceeded on all customers, through solid collaboration across internal lines of business and, externally with customers and Sage Business Partners, via digital communication. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor and accountable for the identification of growth opportunities in collaboration with business partners and their customer base
Key Responsibilities
Summary of the Role
Ensure Business partner/ customer queries are responded to within the specified turnaround time via digital responses
Deliver revenue performance and operational outcomes in line with budgetary expectations and performance KPI’s
Build strong alliances with Business Partners to facilitate successful 90-day planning around linked renewals
Establish strong collaboration with sales teams, providing regular insight on assigned customers and assisting to identify opportunities for incremental revenue
Align, Influence, and manage across lines of business to drive business value and ensure prompt resolution of escalated issues
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and Business Partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Provide accurate and timely forecasting for monthly, quarterly, and annual performance, including risk and opportunity analysis
Other duties as required from time to time (Customer nurture campaigns etc)
Play an integral role in supporting the company’s cloud migration strategy
What will make me successful?
Must have grade 12 matric certificate
A commerce qualification preferably in Accounting or Economics
Must have basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
A Clear Criminal record
A proactive and motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
Excellent communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to accurately enter and manage sensitive data and confidential matters
Ability to deal with difficult conversations and interactions with colleagues
Office Location
Midrand Office - This is a hybrid role, three days per week at the office
