We are hiring a dynamic Media Correspondent who understands real estate and PropTech, is sharp at identifying news trends, and can report, write, and create reels around industry topics.

This role demands strong news sense, confidence on camera, creative storytelling, and an understanding of what drives engagement in today’s digital-first world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and track real estate, PropTech, and infra-related news daily from press releases, government updates, and market shifts.

• Pitch creative, topical story ideas beyond basic news — what’s buzzing, what’s changing, what’s next.

Content Creation:

• Write news articles, event coverage pieces, feature stories.

• Create short, engaging reels (news bytes, industry updates, on-ground reports).

• Attend press conferences, real estate expos, and webinars to cover live updates, interviews, and key announcements.

Confidently report short news videos, interview industry stakeholders, and appear in RealtyNXT’s social media content if needed.

• Upload stories via CMS, apply SEO practices, and optimize content for digital reach.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in journalism, digital media, or content creation — preferably in real estate, PropTech, or business sectors.

• Portfolio Requirement: Must submit samples of published articles and/or short video work (reels, reporting clips).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Media, Mass Communication, or equivalent.

• Skills:

• Strong news sense and research skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Comfortable speaking on camera, creating simple reels/news updates.

• Basic video editing (even app-based like InShot, CapCut) is a plus.

• Familiarity with SEO basics and CMS platforms.
