Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Overall accountability for the logistics function, ensuring customer’s expectations and drivers are correctly instructed to carry out successful and efficient deliveries.
Manage current customer accounts within the respective Business units.
Coordinate delivery schedules with the Execution Desk.
Provide shipment rate quotations for customers and set up shipments as required by customers.
Processing of customer instructions and invoicing accurately and quickly via the company’s fleet management software.
Ensure all fleet operation activities are entered accurately and efficiently via the company’s fleet management software live.
Excellent multitasking skills within the workspace as well as computer software programs.
Tracking status updates to customers via WhatsApp, email and or telephone.
Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
Answer telephone for customer enquiries, responding to calls within remit of responsibility professionally and efficiently.
Manage third party suppliers such as depots, shipping lines and logistic service.
Monitoring and evaluating Sales Performance and Business Unit Target.
Recognise and work within the winning behaviours of the organisation and display high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Always maintain Health and Safety at Workplace.
