We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Growth Manager (VAS Business) to lead the expansion and performance of their value-added services (VAS) portfolio. This includes driving user acquisition, agent onboarding, and revenue growth across various VAS products such as airtime, data, utility payments, and digital services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, scaling distribution channels, and executing growth strategies across both online and offline platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute growth strategies to scale transaction volumes and increase market share across the VAS portfolio (airtime, data, utility bill payments, digital services, etc.).
Identify and onboard new agents, vendors, and distribution partners nationwide.
Design and implement incentive schemes to improve agent performance, loyalty, and retention.
Build strategic partnerships with telecom providers, fintechs, utility companies, and other relevant stakeholders to expand service offerings.
Drive product awareness and adoption through both digital marketing and offline activation campaigns.
Analyze sales trends, customer behaviour, and channel performance to optimize growth initiatives.
Work closely with product, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery and transaction processes.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory, operational, and internal compliance requirements.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform and refine business strategy.
Key Requirements:
5–7 years’ similar experience in VAS, telecommunications, fintech, mobile money, or digital product distribution.
Demonstrated ability to drive growth across multiple VAS products, with a strong track record of revenue generation and channel expansion.
Deep understanding of Nigeria’s VAS and digital payment ecosystem, including agent-led distribution models.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, CRM systems) for performance tracking and decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
