Accounting Analyst (Healthcare/Night Shift)

Job Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Accounting function

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant credential is preferred

Experience working in a BPO, Shared Services, or Healthcare-related industry is required

Proficient knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle

Familiarity with accounting tools like Blackline and healthcare systems like EPIC is an advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and handle confidential information

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across department

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Accounting Supervisor with month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis

Prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and budget vs. Actual analysis

Ensure account integrity by performing timely reconciliations and resolving discrepancies within 90 days

Conduct daily and monthly cash reconciliations, identify variances, and coordinate with third parties to resolve issues

Support AR sub-ledger to GL balancing and assist in correcting variances with oversight

Assist in the preparation and review of audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits

Generate financial and month-end reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed

Support intercompany accounting processes, including transaction tracking and reconciliations

Partner with domestic market teams to manage monthly accruals and upcoming transactions

Act as a departmental super user for financial systems and tools, helping to train and support peers

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards

Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives within the accounting function

Provide back-up support to other accountants or supervisors as needed
