What You Will Do

Our Ontario & Atlantic Offices are seeking undergraduate students to join the team as a Co-op in Fall 2026, Winter 2027, or Summer 2027 as a part of our Risk Services practice.

Our Ontario & Atlantic Offices include the following Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Fredericton, Halifax, St. John's.

This role is open to both those who are pursuing a CPA and those who are not. Please note, CPA PER requirements can be met through TRS projects and engagements.

Our Technology Risk Services Team

Today's organizations – whether businesses, public sector entities or not-for-profit organizations – are heavily and increasingly reliant on information technology (IT) and other computer-based technologies to gain and maintain strategic advantage, and to achieve and sustain operational efficiency and effectiveness. Similarly, they are increasingly reliant on not just internal resources, but also on third parties to maintain these technologies and technology-enabled processes, services and solutions.

KPMG's Technology Risk Services help our clients achieve these goals successfully. You'll be part of a team that brings technology risk awareness to the boardroom while helping clients ensure their technologies,and the third parties that maintain them, meet the evolving technology risk and regulatory requirements. KPMG offers technology audit and assurance services to a variety of clients within different industries and engages with public, private, and not-for-profit clients.

You demonstrate the following

University student with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience (we welcome students pursuing a CPA and those who are not). 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

Proven ability to achieve personal and professional success while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.  

Highly motivated student who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration.

You are committed to achieving your Canadian CPA designation and working to obtain the required pre-requisite courses at your post-secondary institution
