Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Affairs Intern (Rare Disease) to join our Canada Medical Affairs Team based out of Oakville, ON, CA (hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

About the role

Join a dynamic and cross-functional Patient Value team where your voice matters and your contributions drive impact. As a Medical Intern supporting the Rare Diseases Medical team, you'll gain exposure to multiple functional areas, building a broad foundation of knowledge and experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Medical Head and Medical Solutions Lead to support key processes and ensure effective implementation and oversight of the medical strategic and communication plans

• Contribute to projects that shape patient value delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to generate insights and develop meaningful impact.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience, and skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree. Master's degree in Health Sciences or PhD strongly preferred.

• Experience: Previous work, co-op, or internship experience in a healthcare or life sciences setting is preferred.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. Bilingualism in French is a strong asset.

• Collaboration: Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.

• Mindset: Solutions-focused, curious, and eager to learn.

• Organization: Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint); experience with CRM and digital platforms is a plus.

• Prior industry insight experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an asset.

This position’s reasonably anticipated base annual salary range is $45.000-$55,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
