Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Internship: Sales Team Support Representative (12-month) - Ottawa, ON, Canada

The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, data entry, order entry, order management and product support.

Assisting a team of Senior Sales Representatives in evaluating and preparing construction project quotations.

Engaging with contractors and Consultants to develop solutions for electrical installations.

Working with channel partners in applications of Eaton Product and service offerings.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program.

Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 80km of the job location to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.

Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
