Job Description
You’ll be part of our mechanical team working in the mining sector, related heavy industries and hydropower. You’ll be exposed to various situations to develop your technical skills in material handling, maintenance, pumping, turbine generators, machine safety, design, stress analysis and much more. You’ll have the chance to work on various projects under the supervision of more experienced engineers.

Perform in-plant technical information surveys
Perform detailed calculations
Assist experienced staff with the technical aspects of more complex tasks
Perform technical studies and quality control and prepare technical reports
Write documents in accordance with our corporate quality system requirements
Prepare plans and specifications from guidelines for mechanical mandates
Participate in technical audits on site
Supervise the work and commissioning of the designed systems

Overview Of Job Requirements
Three years in an undergraduate mechanical engineering program (at least 80 accumulated credits)
Intermediate English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
AdvancedFrench skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
Asset: Experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
