Job Role: File Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk - AI Training Subject Matter Expert to support the development of advanced AI-driven document management systems. In this role, your expertise in filing systems and records management will be used to train AI models to accurately recognize, categorize, and organize a wide range of documents, including correspondence, invoices, receipts, cards, and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in filing systems and archival best practices for AI model training
- Annotate, review, and structure datasets to train AI systems in alphabetical, numerical, and custom filing methodologies
- Provide detailed feedback on AI model outputs and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy
- Simulate real-world filing scenarios, including edge cases and exceptions, to strengthen AI learning
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to refine data labeling and taxonomy standards
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, guidelines, and feedback throughout project cycles
- Stay updated on trends in digital file management and records organization to support continuous AI improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a File Clerk, Records Specialist, or Document Management Professional
- Strong understanding of alphabetical, numerical, and customized filing systems
- High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, structure, and manage large volumes of records or datasets
- Comfortable working in remote, cross-functional environments using digital collaboration tools
- Interest in contributing subject matter expertise to AI training and data quality initiatives
- Proficiency with office software and file/document management tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI data annotation, training, or digital document management platforms
- Background in training, coaching, or process documentation
- Basic familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts related to information organization
