About the job
Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is looking to hire for an entry level banking role, for their corporate office located in the downtown Toronto area.
Please Note The Following
- This is a back office role (processing/data entry) and NOT a branch or customer service role
- This role is currently hybrid (4x a week in office) however eventually may transition into the office more frequently (as per banks discretion)
- This is an entry level role - so the job duties and the pay rate will reflect accordingly.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reach out to branches to obtain missing documentation
- Update and maintain customer account information
- Review accounts and document findings in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Communicate with branch compliance officers to verify information
- Collaborate with head office staff regarding payments and account actions
- Work with multiple banking software systems
- Consolidate and present information using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Enjoy a role with variety—no two days are exactly the same
Must Have Skills/Experience
- Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
- Excel Knowledge and Experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
- Knowledge/Experience with Registered/Non-Registered Products (RRSPs, TFSA, GICs, Etc.)
- Willing and able to work in the downtown Toronto area (in office) 2-3 times a week.
