We are seeking a motivated Business Outreach Coordinator to support student recruitment and partnership development.
About the Role:
The Business Outreach Coordinator is responsible for generating new student enrollments and tuition revenue through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and disciplined follow-up.
This is a hybrid, performance-driven role combining remote lead generation and management with in-person community engagement. The role works in tandem with the Event Planning department to maximize enrollment outcomes from promotional initiatives and community events.
This is a six-month temporary role with strong potential for conversion into a full-time position based on performance and revenue contribution.
Work Structure (Hybrid Model)Remote Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through outbound phone calls and email outreach
- Follow up on inquiries via phone and email
- Manage and track the inquiry pipeline
- Book consultations
- Maintain CRM and enrollment reporting
- Coordinate outreach campaigns
In-Person Responsibilities:
- Visit schools and community organizations
- Build referral partnerships
- Attend community fairs and outreach events
- Support recruitment sessions organized by the Event Planning department
- Conduct in-person consultations when required
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new leads via phone and email outreach
- Convert inquiries into enrolled students
- Build and maintain referral pipelines
- Collaborate with the Event Planning department to optimize event-based enrollments
- Promote multi-term and premium program enrollments
- Ensure follow-up within 24–48 hours of inquiries
- Track enrollments and revenue generated
- Submit regular KPI and revenue reports
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
Performance will be measured by:
- Monthly tuition revenue generated
- Number of new student enrollments
- Conversion rate (lead to enrollment)
- Cost per acquired student
- 90-day student retention rate
- Number of active referral partnerships established
- Volume and effectiveness of outbound calls and email outreach
Compensation Structure
This is a commission-only position aligned with revenue growth.
- 20% commission on tuition revenue collected
- Tiered bonus for exceeding monthly revenue targets
- Commission paid only on tuition received
- No commission on refunds
- Commission applies only to new student enrollments directly attributed to employee’s outreach initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sales, outreach, recruitment, or business development
- Comfortable generating leads through outbound phone calls and email outreach
- Strong and clear communicator via phone and written email
- Organized and disciplined with follow-up
- Comfortable working independently in a startup environment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal transportation
- Successful completion of a background and criminal records check
Education sector experience is an asset but not required.
