Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly as they arrive.
Present menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
Order Management:
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Table Maintenance:
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
Refill drinks and attend to guest needs throughout the dining experience.
Clear plates and clean tables efficiently between courses and after meals.
Billing & Payments:
Present bills, process payments, and return change or receipts.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
Cleanliness & Setup:
Ensure tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and properly set.
Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting tables, folding napkins, and polishing cutlery.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Support colleagues during busy periods and shift changes.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Adhere to company policies, grooming, and uniform requirements.
Requirements
Prior experience as a waitress or in customer service (preferred).
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Basic math and POS handling skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
