Social Media Intern (1-Year Experience Preferred)

Job Description/Requirements

Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms

Monitor trends and implement strategies to increase engagement and follower growth

Write compelling captions and optimize posts with relevant hashtags and tags

Track analytics, generate performance reports, and suggest improvements

Support in running paid social media campaigns and promotions

Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely manner

Requirements:

At least 1 year of hands-on experience managing social media accounts

Proficiency in tools like Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or similar

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Creative mindset with attention to detail

A good understanding of current social media trends and algorithms

Ablity to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Experience with basic photo/video editing

Knowledge of social media advertising tools
