Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
Must be proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects.
Strong knowledge of contract administration, project valuation, and tendering processes.
Familiarity with building and construction materials, methods, and legal regulations.
Proficient in the use of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost control reports, and valuations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Must be a registered member or in the process of registration with NIQS or any recognized QS professional body.
