Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
General Over sight - Provide leadership and general oversight for the Finance and Sales unit
Conduct staff management in the absence of the CEO, offer leadership at all staff
Cash flow management
Offer oversight and proper management and accountability of the Petty cash kitty
Ensure proper, accurate and timely Book Keeping of all finance related transactions
Ensure that there is data integrity and Accuracy through establishing and managing the Checker role
Ensure that proper accounting is done in Compliance with the set regulations (Including timely remittance of all Taxation and statutory related dues)
Create a conducive environment to enhance Risk Management
Ensure that all collection and payment points [Bank accounts and Till accounts] are functional and readily available
Take full charge of Accounts management including daily Reconciliation and proper introduction and rightful operations of the bank Agents
Ensure proper Financial Reporting in line with the Accounting Standards
Any other official duties assigned by the CEO
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting related course
2-3 years’ experience in a finance role in retail/wholesale/distribution, 1 in Managerial/Supervisory role
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-k)
Good Interpersonal, leadership skills, team work and decision-making skills
Expert computer skills in Microsoft office application -Word, Excel & MS Power Point or any other finance application software
Strong sense of Integrity
