Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Co-op to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, and integrate clinical and operational data from various sources

• Conduct statistical analysis to assess data quality, identify trends, and highlight inefficiencies

• Use tools like Excel, Power BI to build dashboards for clinic performance and patient flow

• Support predictive or diagnostic model development to improve appointment scheduling, resource usage, or patient outcomes

• Assist with preparing reports that help managers and clinicians make data-informed decisions

• Ensure all data handling aligns with relevant privacy legislation and data protection requirements

• Participate in testing and feedback cycles for proposed solutions or dashboards.

• Use SQL and Python where applicable to analyze structured or unstructured data

Skills

• Enrolled in a Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related program

• Computer Science background is a strong asset

• Experience in Java is a plus, especially for developing or working with data-driven applications

• Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques (e.g., SPSS, Python)

• Strong skills in data visualization (Excel, Power BI preferred)

• Ability to ask analytical questions and define clear problem statements

• Comfortable working with multiple data sources and data formats

• Interest in applying analytics in a healthcare environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
