Full job description

Bookkeeping:

Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable administration.

Assisting in Capture accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (experience with Pastel or similar is a plus).

Ensure all financial transactions are captured and recorded correctly and promptly.

Administrative Support:

Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, managing office supplies, and organizing documents.

Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events as needed.

Office Coordination:

Assist with office tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.

Coordinate with other departments and ensure efficient communication and operation.

Provide support as needed.

Education:

Matric (Grade 12) is required.

A relevant qualification in accounting or bookkeeping (e.g., Certificate in Bookkeeping) is an advantage, but not essential.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in a financial or office setting).

Knowledge or experience with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks) is highly desirable but not a requirement

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
