Finance / Account Officer

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

Manage account reconciliation, bank statements, and ledger entries.

Handle budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and company tax filings.

Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.

Implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

Assist in financial decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2-4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.

ICAN certification (or in the final stages of completion).

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
