Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include drafting and maintaining strategic plans and data, ensuring adherence to project timelines and service-level agreements, and producing relevant reports to inform management decisions. The position requires frequent, accurate, and data-driven communication across different management levels. Where necessary, the Consultant may coordinate with third-party service providers, but typically operates in a purely advisory capacity.
Core responsibilities:
Professional development: Ensure that own competence and product knowledge is constantly developed and up to date
Ensure legislative requirements and changes are constantly monitored, updated and maintained
Ensure self-development and career development are constantly maintained
Standardization:
Ensuring all client information and data are accurately captured and stored across all technology platforms
Implement and follow standardization protocols related to the use of B-BBEE file templates, documentation and reporting requirements
Recordkeeping and Referencing: Safely and securely working with all client information
Regular data backups of client information done on various software platforms
Detailed recordkeeping of all relevant emails, reports, action plans and next steps
Service Value and Quality: Embody LabourNet values across all aspects of work
Ensure all communication (written and verbal) is accurate, clear, easy to understand
Ensure client retention and client satisfaction through high quality service delivery
Provide a broad range of consulting services to facilitate compliance within the QSE, Generic and sector- specific B-BBEE Scorecards for relevant clients in line with the LabourNet B-BBEE Consulting service offering
Delivery of services as per the dedicated Service Level Agreement signed with each individual client
Time Management: Pro-actively arranging meetings with current and prospective clients in line with SLA and the agreed B-BBEE action plan
Project Management: Planning and executing own processing time and activities
Updating or amending client reports, action plans and next steps
Knowledge and information sharing with clients and all relevant stakeholders
Ensuring that client objectives are met
Operating within client deadlines
Various other responsibilities, including, but not limited to those specified herein and other requests and instructions from time to time.
