SAICA Articled Clerk / Trainee Accountant - Parktown

Are you looking to become a CA? Our multinational client based in Parktown is looking for 3 SAICA students to join their team. This is a firm that takes pride in their trainees. You will not be a number but rather a part of the family. Mentorship and guidance are a priority.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Registered Accounting degree that is SAICA approved and in progress at a SAICA accredited institute

Driver's License

Own vehicle (preferable, but can be discussed further)

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (Afrikaans and English)

Computer literate including Outlook, Word and Excel

Duties & Responsibilities

The Trainee Accountant will report to the Audit Supervisor, and duties will include but are not limited to:

Producing accurate and timely client reports.

Performing and reporting on Audit tasks in a timely manner.

Obtaining reliable and sufficient evidence for all audit procedures.

Completing regular rating assessments, as outlined by SAICA

Compilation of Financial Statements

This role will align with SAICA's training policies, candidates must be focused and determined on becoming a Chartered Accountant. Balancing work and studies is a must as it is required by SAICA to progress in both.
