Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to hire a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience within a manufacturing setup, strong reconciliation skills, and familiarity with inventory and cost accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor inventory transactions and track cost of goods sold (COGS).
Reconcile supplier accounts, customer statements, and bank transactions.
Support payroll accounting and ensure accurate statutory deductions and filings.
Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and cost tracking for production inputs.
Collaborate with the production and stores teams to validate material movements and consumption.
Prepare documentation and schedules required for internal and external audits.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
Participate in regular stock takes and investigate variances.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA Part II or above is a distinct advantage.
Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, or equivalent.
Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost allocation principles.
Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
