Deputy Head of SME

Responsibility Summary:

Provide visionary leadership to branch teams, build synergies across teams and foster strategic partnerships for business growth.

Drive profitability by optimizing balance sheet, managing costs and growing high quality asset and deposit portfolios.

Ensure compliance, improve customer service delivery, and lead innovation in products and market expansion.

Champion talent development, performance management, and staff motivation to build a high-performing team culture

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field, (MBA) is an advantage.

Minimum 10 years of banking experience with an understanding of Bank policies and external regulations, with at least 4 years in supervisory role in business development.

Experience in sales, structuring credit files across Retail & SME Banking, and in-depth knowledge in banking operations, risk and controls.

Strong knowledge of CBK prudential guidelines, Basel rules, Banking act, IFRS.
