Sales Executive

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in retail, hospitality, and distribution channels.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and distributors.

Provide product education and support to clients.

Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Territory Management:

Plan and execute regular visits to clients within the assigned territory.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional strategies with sales goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 2–4 years of sales experience in the beverage or FMCG industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage trends and regulations.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.

Sales volume and revenue growth.

New client acquisition rate.

Client retention and satisfaction scores.

Territory coverage and visit frequency.

Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
