Job Description

To set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines for cutting & production and to ensure production plans are met. A successful CNC machine operator to be safety-focused and understands the importance of precision and quality. Responsibilities:

Performing visual inspections on incoming raw materials and verifying it with drawing requirements

Operating CNC machines properly by creating cutting programs manually on the machine or by importing cutting files.

Reading and interpreting drawings

Producing cut parts and items to meet dimensional tolerances without defects.

Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, adjusting and reprogramming control.

Awareness of different types of CNC machines (coping rolled section, pipe profiling, plate cutting) and different types of materials (carbon steel and stainless steel).

Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Comply with all applicable safety procedures and policies
